Michael Bernstein – Ascorbico Co- Founder & CTO
Michael Bernstein gained his MSc in Chemistry from Weizmann Institute and later received his
PhD from York University, U.S.A in alternative Medicine and Medicinal Plants. Dr. Bernstein is a
prominent researcher, the author of many scientific publications and owner of several patents,
all related to fine chemistry, cosmetics and herbal products. Dr. Bernstein held senior positions as head of R & D laboratory in several companies in the cosmetics industry , helping developing unique skin care products based on Natural and Essential oils, Land & Sea Plant Extracts and special minerals.
Moshe Nissim - Ascorbico Co - Founder & CFO
Mr. Moshe Nissim is a C.P.A (Certified Public Accountant) and M.B.A. (Master in Business Adminstartion) speciality in Finance from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mr. Nissim contributes his knowledge and experience to promote efficiently the goals of Ascorbico.
Amnon Bitton – Ascorbico Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Director
Holder of the State Doctor’s Award, as well as Outstanding Doctor Award on behalf of Israel’s
Society and Law Association, Dr. Bitton leads the vision and clinical directions of the company,
with proven record of success and an exceptional career achievements. Dr. Amnon Bitton earned his medical degree from Ben Gurion University Medical school and since then pursued an outstanding 20 years medical and scientific career, encompassing lecturing, researching,
consulting and treating alternative methods for Psoriasis and Diabetes. Dr. Bitton has a great
interest in subjects related to Alternative treatment for Diabetes and especially in the treatment
of pressure Ulcers. Dr. Bitton is the author of many articles related to Dermatology and Cosmetics.
Yaki Shpernat – Ascorbico Chemical Engineering, Scientific Regulation & Business Adviser.
B.Sc. Chemical Engineering graduate from Ben Gurion University and an M.Sc. from N.Y.Polytechnic, Mr. Shpernat is an accomplished entrepreneur, with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of specialty chemicals and was instrumental in planning designing and project managing on process engineering for some of the top firms like Roche Colorado, Novartis, UCB and Teva, as head of Frutarom ICC N.Y. As business development manager of BioLab Ltd. Mr. Shpernat has a deep research development and commercial experience across diverse and highly regulated markets, such as biotechnology, Enviro-tech and Food-tech applications. His involvement covers not just feasibility studies of new GMP units, but also establishing new production lines and later transfer them into pilot plants and large production facilities.
